Huge boots to fill for whoever gets that gig, Fernandinho is the most underrated player in the league.

He's a huge prospect. Great with the ball and good deep-lying playmaker
But he ain't no like-for-like replacement for Fernandinho. From what I've seen breaking up play, stopping counters and shielding the back 4 aren't his fortes.

Frankie goes to Barcelona, a new band emerging, according to the social media experts.

He's an insanely talented young player. I hope he's our #1 priority, because he's exactly what we need. Think Jorginho, but younger and a much greater ability to lose his defender. Just checkout the trusty ol' youtube compilation (be sure to mute):

Watch on youtube.com

HIs dribbling ability would cause teams all kinds of problems vs us. Once he beats a man, someone else would have to press him, leaving Kev/Dave/Bernie/Raheem wide open. Good news is that he didn't grow up in the Ajax academy, so he shouldn't have much loyalty to them.

70m is what good players go for these days. Really good players go for more than that.

Just a little point when City fans criticise the lack of game time Brahim, Phil and other teenagers get:
de jong is 21 now. He didn't get a chance in the first team at Ajax until last season. Two year ago when he was Foden's age, he still played in their development team ... And now he's considered one of the most promising young players in the world.
