Just one question, as I thought the attendance and crowd were excellent following the recent campaign to discredit us, did we were 'Boo' their jingle or did we decide to get behind the team instead?

I think the volume was turned up on the jingle

At least Hoffe equalised! 2-2 at Lyon.

eh, not completely through yet. But basically there

oh dear ! do the Math as they say in the US of A.

Looks like the only way we don't qualify is if we lose both games and the goal differential swings by 8

That was no way as bad as we're used to. I think after the City onslaught this weak Blues are more angry with other things and are circling the bandwagons, deciding to get behind the team rather than airing their grievance against UEFA.

I want to win this so we can stick 2 fingers up to UEFA and also prove that this team is the best ever. To do that I believe we need to be positive towards the game and not start on a downer.

Maybe its because no defender ever points out to the ref, I tripped him. I was in line with that one last night and I thought he was clipped.

The other game ending in a draw was good for us. We will qualify without question anyway but the draw gives us a far greater chance of topping the group.

Also, does anyone know the last team two score six in consecutive games?

Really enjoyed last night. Ground nearly full and constant singing,(at least where I was in SSI). The Champs league music was initially greeted with some boos but this was immediately overtaken by City songs, which I thought was much better. A feeling of real unity and the ground which I felt quite proud of.

Imagine Ashley Young in a derby stopping the match to tell the ref "excuse me pal, I just handballed it in the area. Give City a pen eh"

Being disgusted with him is OTT.
He's probably embrassed by kicking the ground and tumbling over by himself when clear in on goal.
But his 2nd half goal was special so that make a up for it.
