Laporte is the tenth player to go unbeaten through his first 20 league matches
Ederson, Bernardo, and Gabriel previously did the same

Random one...
Manchester City are unbeaten in their past 43 Premier League games when kicking off at 3pm (W37 D6), the longest run at this specific time kick-off in the league's history.

This is the first time since the 1978-79 season that three top-flight teams have gone unbeaten in their opening 11 games of a league campaign (Man City, Chelsea and dippers).
And how about Sterling's stats for City: 153 games played, 50 goals, 54 assists.
Final stat: City have scored more first half goals in the PL this season (17) than 11 PL teams have managed in total. Those 17 first half goals are only two fewer than Spurs and United have each managed in 11 full PL games.

Only the second time a team has scored 4 or more goals in three consecutive away games at the same venue. Chelsea at Bolton between 2009-11 were the other team.

Only the second time in top flight history has a side from outside London won 6 consecutive games in London. Portsmouth in 1950/1 were the other side!
And this doesn’t take into consideration the LC final and Community Shield

We've scored 8 goals for every 1 goal scored against us.
Meanwhile, the rags have created fewer chances this season than Southampton.

A remarkable stat I came across, Aguero hasn't scored an away goal in the Premier League at an English ground in over a year.

He's tied for most goals and for most assists in the league. Early favorite for POTY.

Against teams from the south of England or South Wales, the last 38 games, a full PL season, we have won 37 and drawn one!
Truly amazing stat

Anybody know what the record is for number of different players to score for one team in PL season is?
Can't be far off.
Hope Ederson gets one before end of season.

Compared to this point last season, Manchester City are down 11 points and two places.
To repeat the 100-point achievement of 2017/18, City would have to win every game for the rest of the season

Oh dear oh dear .
Each new season brings with it new opportunities, new options and new team constellations.
Given that we all would like City to win the league again this season.
It is not necessary to get 100 points . it is only necessary to have one more point or a better goal difference than the team in second place.
Don't forget these points when crapping on about the 100 point mark.
100 points will not be needed to win the league this season.
