FA Cup 3rd round draw

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

FA Cup 3rd round draw

Postby CTID Hants » Mon Dec 03, 2018 10:50 am

BBC1 19:30 tonight and as ever i'm looking forward to it, hell it's the oldest football competition in the World (still in existence for the pedants)

We're ball number 23, looks like Ince & Gullit are drawing the balls, so the rags can expect an easy home draw!!

I know we've been winning pots i.e.the Carabao but i really do want us to pick this one up again, Wembley in May is so much nicer than in the arse end of February right?

I assumed it was Halifax, but double-checked, and they were promoted to the Football League the season we played them.

According to 11v11, that was way back in 1971 - can't believe we haven't drawn anyone non-league in almost 50 years?!

What about when we were in the third tier? We'd have been in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

Never mind, it doesn't feature non-league teams.
