Been saying this all season. I'm a fan of Jesus but surprised that he hasn't kicked on this season. He does link well with Sane and Sterling but we need to replace Agüero with another monster goal-scorer

Could not agree more. I remember him being one on one in injury time against Southampton to ensure we win the match and get to 100 points. I'll never forgive him for that miss.

Class today. Worked his bollocks off and was rewarded with two goals.

I think today goes to show that you won't get the best of players until they get regular game time.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Always does. Even when he wasn’t scoring, he works so hard and is constantly moving and making space.
Hopefully today will get him firing again, because his touch and nerve had deserted him somewhat.

He’s a good lad though with two good feet.
He links play very well and I still have hopes he’ll make it here.

You’re right but this is not the side where you can be out of form for multiple games in a row and get that time. I’ve been critical of him recently, but yesterday he looked back to normal. Very pleased.
Tracking back is overrated.

Same could be argued about Gundogan about game time. He was impressive yesterday. I think he's lightweight but then yesterday against a grinding opponent, horrible team in fact, he stood out.

When Jesus doesn't get game time and then plays, he still works hard. You don't see that with Gundo. So the same can't be said.

Gundo has never run round, neither did Iniesta and Xavi. Gundo is world class.

You're putting words in his mouth Mase.

Gundogan wouldn't still be here if he didn't have good work ethic.

You're suggesting Hazy said he's better than Iniesta and Xavi, he never said that.

He compared their style of play and fwiw I agree with him as far as Xavi is concerned.

In the champions League final Xavi covered more ground than any Barca player..

"Xavi also covered a lot of distance on the pitch – 80.20 kilometres throughout the competitions, which average at approximately 11.5 kilometres per game. In the final, he covered a distance of almost 15 kilometres."
