Fulham just got away with one from an arm up in the box. VAR cannot come in fast enough for me.

Watching Arsenal try and play from the back is like watching Pep's first season.

Saints had to work their arse off. Any advantage helps.

Anybody have issues with Salah's dive? Seems the FA are happy for the slightest contact and a bloke throwing himself to the floor. I wonder if the Dipper connection and TV rights had anything to do with it?

It was a quite dreadful decision. He put his hand on his shoulder and Salah went down like he'd been hit by a truck. You then look at the two penalties we didn't get at Anfield for comparison.
And then on the Sky app in the "ref watch" section, the appointed ex referee employed to cast his expert eye on contentious decisions, I think its Dermot Gallagher, then tells us it was the correct decision!!!
If that is a penalty kick we may as well give it in. And these are the sort of decisions where VAR concerns me. It wont be a level playing field as to how they get awarded

That's the supposed "air of invincibility" for you. We had it last season and this season up to December. Teams will assume they can't/won't win the fixture so put out a weakened side to preserve their best XIs for the winnable games. I believe this mentality comes from a rock solid defence. At the moment teams believe they can score against us and the stats show that yo be the case. We need to get the defence back to being miserly

Gallagher's just a puppet for Sky, spouting their line for wanting masses. We've seen numerous ex-players and ref's who have stated that it's a dive and needs to be kicked out of the game yet we get Sky's hired help telling the world that it is an unequivocal foul, and with a straight face.
As I said, mate, Sky control what happens in football theses days therefore it comes down to commercial value. The Dippers have a bigger value to them compared to most and their star man is also of equal value. Losing him in big games such as Arsenal and us was never an option, Dippers fans would have been buying candles rather than signing up to Sky Sports.

There was so much panic when the keeper played it out to a defender, like - "shit, what do we do now?!"
I did like the look of that 29 for Arsenal though. Did give the ball away a few times but seemed like he always wanted to be involved and pushed things forward.
