Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Had a stop/start stream for the game but , for me, seemed to be a bit of a procession; just what we needed after a couple of games under pressure. With so !any scorers and none conceded, it's got to be difficult to call?

I think Raheem added that little bit of class to the team and thought Foden had their defence in circles but, I think I'm going for Gundogan due to his overall game. Defensively he's not the best but his work rate and turnovers today we're very good.

Gundogan was brilliant. Four assists. He’s not a defensive midfielder but he’s a heck of a squad central midfielder.

I think that's the question, mate. Do we see him as a DM or AM?

Kind of player who probably isn't quite good enough to start in either position for the really big games but is a more than adequate deputy

I don’t think he covers the ground or is good enough in the tackle to be a dm. He can spot a run and deliver a pass as well as anyone. He can also steal in and score a few as well. We need to buy someone top class to replace Fernandinho. In any big match Gundogan isn’t the man for that job,

My view too.
He’s more than adequate as a squad AM.
Technically very good. Scores and assists.
He has no speed though and cannot cover the ground Fern does.
Let’s face it nobody currently in the squad is adequate cover for Fern.

Foden for me. Not the best player on the pitch but a solid performance from the youngster, got his goal, and continues to look not one bit out of place.

Delighted for him but didn’t think his final pass was up to scratch today.
One thing about him though. He doesn’t hide and invariably grows into any game I’ve watched him in and is always dangerous late on.
Really like him as an AM.

I'm not a fan of Gundo in any way shape or form, but I thought he ran midfield today after making a big difference when he came on against Scouse. He changed the pattern on Thursday and followed it up with a dominant performance .
However I went for Raheem today, scored a lovely goal and it seemed like he got mad and made them pay for the treatment that was handed out to him by players not fit to lace his boots.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

I enjoyed the game and some of our play, but despite some good passages of play from many players, one didn't stick in my mind as MotM. So I'm going with Gundo for four assists. Nice to see Kev looking more like his old self too.

Sterling is a class above when he’s on. Gundo was very good too.
Tracking back is overrated.
