so its ok for inter to sign the player, but not us. mind he didnt waste any time in getting a new club. this need s to be looked at, we could get a work permit but inter just sign him
As an employee of Parma, I presume he already has a permit to work in Italy.
There's no need for a work permit in Italy. I think UK is the only European nation where you need a work permit, in Italy there's only a rule that you can't sign more than one (or two? I can't remember) extra-EU player from abroad per season. No restrictions on signing extra-EU players already in the country.
I don't pretend to understand politics but as someone else pointed out earlier why can other people just walk into our country willy nilly with no intention to work, bleed the NHS and other areas dry and a guy who is prof football player be turned away on a work permit application. It beggers belief.
If he would gave said I'm coming here to claim JSA he would have been in, no problem. Just to add I know that not all people that come to England come to sponge and claim benefits I know lots are genuine.
