I wouldn’t be too cocky yet.
It’s whoever blinks first, loses.
That’s what I believe, but we have to hold our nerve as much as them. No room for error.
I’d gladly ditch the CL for retention of the PL.

The Sunday NZZ (Zürich Newspaper), in today's sportsection. Has an Article on Scousepool.
Last season and for most of this season completely ignoring the Premier League .
Today it's about this most Controversial club.
John Henry paid 300 million and they say , Scouse are worth two billion! Inspite not having won anything in years, excessive spending in the transfer market and a very high wage bill and building a new stand.
No one is ever going to pay billions for a football club.

Me too. But in fact I reckon it will happen the other way; we will rest some players in the league prior to CL and end up dropping points.. and we’re not gonna win the CL anyway so essentially we will just throw away our chance of the title for nothing

Interesting piece on NBC where Clattenburg talks about Salah's diving:
https://www.nbcsports.com/video/man-cit ... ddersfieldYou'll need either a VPN or something like Epic Browser to fool the NBC site into thinking you're in the USA, but basically they're saying he's a cheating cunt.

Listening to TalkSport yesterday and one of theresenters actually said that he didn't want them to win it, along with the majority of the country.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Everyone hates us because we won the lottery. But fuck me fans actually want us to win it over Liverpool. Shows how much they're hated.

I am in this camp.
The vermin have been very fortunate.
It is possible that they will continue to ride that luck.
We are likely to get caught between the league and CL. And possibly end up with neither.

Not chuckling yet but........
Between now and end of Feb we play first in all but 1 game. Do our job and they'll have the pressure of us being only 1 point behind as they kick off. I know we've got Chelsea and Arsenal both at home but they've got the scum away during that run. First game in March we've got Bournemouth at home while they play a derby away at the toffees. My belief is that's when we'll pull away from them!

They'll have played a game more because of Carabao Cup final on 24th Feb.

That's assuming we don't lose 10-0 vs Burton on Wednesday

So we'll only be 1 point ahead instead of the 4 I'd anticipated!
Oh, and we'll have bagged our 1st trophy of the season to pile more pressure on klipperty and his vile troops!

Liverpool 'title celebration' tickets on sale
It seems Liverpool fans are so confident that they will lift the Premier League trophy on the final day of the season, that fans are selling tickets for extortionate prices.
The Daily Mail report that tickets for the last day game with Wolves at Anfield are going for as much as £6,000 on resale sites as fans hope to see their side lift the Premier League trophy for the first time.
Who wants to tell them that there’s 15 games of the season remaining?
