MotM v Burton | 2nd Leg

Postby Beefymcfc » Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:45 pm

I have to admit that I'll be checking the teamsheet to get the names tonight but thought that the youngsters have a shout against Mahrez.

I was totally frustrated by Mahrez because of how often he got it wrong! Thankfully he managed the simple pass for Kun's goal but that after he didn't make that pass a few minutes earlier.

I went for Sandler but it could have been Garcia and a big shout out for Muric.

Sandler for me.

Despite his falling on ice because they were obviously under strict orders to pass it and play it and not hack it out!!

Both CBs were good but I felt Sandler looks that bit more of a commanding unit

Bye Nico, thanks for the memories!

Danilo.

Really impressed by the young centre back pairing too.

Watched it up until the 65th minute then the absolute boredom of it got to me (i hate friendlies, dead rubbers etc).
From what I saw I thought Danilo did ok. I think in real games at the moment he is a better option than Walker, although by not that much.
Foden seemed quiet as did the lad on the left, but look it was a nothing game and we cant take anything from it.

Wondered why my eldest lad stopped texting me just before Aguero scored. He texted me at 10, had fallen asleep!
