Didn't see it so went off the stats. As well as scoring Aymeric had most touches and most tackles.

Had fern gotten away without a booking I’d have given him player of the season. For once the slant was bang on, he surely had a bet on that yellow because he wouldn’t stop until he got it.

You know he only commited 3 fouls in the 90?

The first one was innocuous.

The second one could easily have been yellow and he was booked on his third.

I think the squealing scousers made it appear that he was getting away with more than he was.

Davies and Calvert Lewin were putting themselves about in a similar manner to Fern and neither was booked.

Poor Zouma got a yellow for I believe his first foul.

They played advantage and therefore no foul in some too. If you watched that game and saw him have the crowd calling for his head twice and still go back in again and still think he wasn’t lucky to have lasted so long im not sure what else to say.
Tracking back is overrated.

I'm not suggesting he wasn't lucky to get away with it, I said he could easily have been booked on the second foul but Pawson was lenient both ways and the squeals from the home fans made it appear that he was getting away with murder.
