Read in Italy salaries are reported pre-tax and in England it’s reported after tax. So pre-tax it’s £400,000 a week but after it will be something like £250,000 a week.

I think running down contracts and taking the fee or close to it within the salary is going to become more and more of a regular occurrence until big clubs lose money and find a way to change the rules.
Tracking back is overrated.

No chance players over here are getting £250k after tax.

His agent has had an absolute blinder.

Good for him & his agent but that's a joke. No way he's worth that much and no way is he better than the CM that Juve already have. I understand that they're saving millions by not having to pay a transfer fee for him but 400K/wk is mad and, worse, undeserved. He's not that good and has never shown that he can be consistently good and injury-free.

Fair play to him and his agent for brokering the deal at those prices. Never really made it big at arsenal but good for him taking the challenge of moving abroad

But you can argue Ronaldo and Dybala are players at the top of their game and deserve their pay. You can hardly say that about Ramsey
