No because the penalty miss was worth more than 3 points against our title rivals.
How about the winner at Spurs?

So essentially what you're saying is there's no making up for it.

He could start by playing well. That might be a start.

I think the point is Mase, Merlin gave his all to create the chance.Which Meh!rez scored with his right foot surprisingly and somewhat unexpectedly.
So whilst M seems to be the hero of the day , it was a tap in made possible by one of our stalwarts pulling his finger out to create the chance.
Pulling his finger out for the team , which Meh!rez needs to do more of.
"Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs."

The only way we'll know Mahrez turned a corner is the day when Mase starts praising him

It worked with Gundo. Like I said yesterday, if it wasn't for Bern then Gundo would be in with a shout for our POTY

Really ?
I'd go:
1) b side
2) laporte
3) dinho
4) aguero ? Can't deny his goals
5) zinny ???
Forgot sterling.

But if we listened to you the whole time, we'd have sold the whole squad and sacked Pep

I said "in with a shout" - Gundo is absolutely up there with the people you've named.
Zinchenko has played well in the last two games. In with a shout for POTY?! Absolutely not

Hey Saul. Mahrez is the reason we're top. He's being picked on enough now. Yes we broke our transfer record for him. Yes he refuses to adapt to Pep's system. Yes he took the penalty away from Jesus and missed it in what would have been points off our main rival and also kill the ghost of us not winning at Anfield since WWII. Yes we chased him for two windows. Yes he's scored against shitty clubs.
But at least he doesn't whinge.

I think behind the scenes he does whinge.
'It's so important for him. Firstly, for the team,' said Guardiola.
'He has to be ready and positive - "OK, my time is going to come, the time is going to come" - because there are a lot of games.
'I don't have any doubts about his quality and always his mentality is aggressive.
'But he has to understand where he is and where he is, is at a team who scored 100 points (last season) and in every single game fight and run and play.
'And the people in front are Leroy (Sane) - last season one of the most important players that we had - Bernardo (Silva), the best player in the league, and Raheem (Sterling).'
