There was a lot of good stuff tonight but you do need to score away in the Champions League. To come back from 2-1 down and win the match was a brave effort. I didn’t see the VAR for either goal but I’m amazed the referee didn’t even come and look for the second one.The whole stadium erupted, the Spurs players had given up and were literally on the floor. Very cruel. It will be very hard to pick ourselves up now for the rest of the season but there’s a lot still to play for and that’s what we have to do.

Our fans like CL?

Our performance combined with a decent portion of our feelings about it as fans may be our undoing over the coming years.

No, you're not. And yes he did. However, Laporte fucking up for the first two goals also had a bearing on it as already said.

Baldie has fucked around with the defense since he came to our club - even when noone was injured he still fucked around with it .

- its cost us big time.

There may be something to be said about a consistent back 4.

It works elsewhere to rotate, but rotating there, particularly at centre back, may be one of the problems as that is what most good sides do, I believe.

Just goes to show you never outgrow your roots, typical City is back

As others have said, I expect us to smash them on the weekend and the rags midweek. Fuck the uefa, I'd take the domestic treble over that rigged pot 7 days of the week

How could it be offside if the Spurs player played it to Aguero?

there was a deflection off a City player, which was not a pass to kun , but a deflection and a perfectly good goal has been ruled offside .

Basically it is official cheating.

The deflection is surely irrelevant. The fact he passed the ball backwards to Kun renders him onside. The City player didn’t attempt to touch the ball so it can be argued he wasn’t in the passage of play intentionally. Goal for me

of course you are correct but don't let VAR and UEFA get in your way.

Bernie did not make a pass and Kun was onside when it hit bernie.

Not a single word about it was a Spurs player who passed the ball. Yes, Kun was in an offside position but it wasn’t a City player who PASSED it to him. Perhaps this is one of those amendments to the laws that have been brought in lately that I’ve missed.

Worst bit for me is winning, and then having it taken away. That's the problem with VAR.

It deflected off Bernardo and Kun was still a decimetre offside when it did. Guess that must be the reason it was flagged.

A cornerstone of a winning side is more often than not a consistent defence. Always has been, always will be

The first goal came off Llorentes elbow yet the ref signalled his hip. Two poor decisions.

Speechless but could write war and peace, il settle with..

1) would need to see aguero again but in no home ground in the world is a 95th minute winner disallowed, esp after you've just been confused about a 100% handball (esp in these new hand ball rules) after ten watches

2) pep has fucked up three times. To Monaco, spurs and scouse. Not Madrid, barca and Bayern's. Its either arrogance or over thinking. Laporte at lb for the first ever, at Anfield? Mahrez at spurs. Bernando not in the squad.. no dinho tonight. Freezing stones out.

3) var will kill football

4) fuck UEFA and thst turk ( who has fucked us twice)

Mendy isnt good enough for city. Laporte errors probably come from swapping his partner every week.

Two finals now, dont sulk, and pep earn your money.

Bernie did not make a pass and Kun was onside when it hit bernie.

Just seen it again and changed my mind, it was just offside as Bernardo flicked it on.

However, I'm still adamant that by the current UEFA interpretation of handball that the Lorente goal should not have stood. Down his arm onto his hip.

Listen, our winning goal is offside. That is what it is written in the rule book. It is stupid, but that is what is written there.

But their goal is handball. Not 100%, but his elbow deflects it in. It should had been disallowed.
