It wasn't a handball.
It was an utter embrassment to go out to that team conceding 3 goals at home to them.
We are the laughing stock of European football.
I knew we wouldn't win it but to go out to that shower is inexcusable.

I'm not even going to reply to that, the embarrassmentbis all on you, friend.

I am far from embarrassed, angry and annoyed yes but embarrassed no.
The facts are we fucked it up over the two legs making basic errors on and off the field.
I never felt we would win the CL but to go out conceding 4 goals to them over 2 legs is embarrassing.
They are shit and we gifted it to them.

So, apparently the law next season is going to change which means Llorentes goal will not be allowed next season. Cheers, that's fucking great news, just 12 months too late.

Also, here is a thing. When we are all showed stills of an offside decision where a players arm is ahead of the defence but nothing else is, we are told by our media friends that it's not offside because it has to be a part of the body he can score with. REALLY, well Llorente scored tonight with the part he can't score with and the ref even watched if over and over again like an episode of friends on Dave.

Joke, what a shambles

I think after last night's game a joke of a competition, and also last season against the victims I'm seriously considering fucking champions league football off and not bothering going, this VAR is another way of manipulating games to UEFAs means.
And if it starts to do the same with premier league games then my 35yrs as a season ticket holder is at an end. The prems fab 4 is and always will be their aim, as for UEFA they will just screw us at every angle to make sure we don't get in on their cash cow along with the axis of power clubs.

Just to confirm as well as a few people mention Trippier during the game. He's a Munich and all his family support them. He'll have loved last night more than anyone.

As we all know, these have now been implemented by UEFA who even came out with statements after one of our earlier games when a similar incident occurred (think it was Otamendi). And to prove the point, the VAR called it to the referee and although the angle he seen was inconclusive it showed that the VAR had clear direction on what was the infringement.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I hate this competition, however its paramount we win it at some point. We cant just fuck it off if we want to keep attracting top players and grow. After last night, I don't feel like watching or listening to football. Rather than throwing in the towel, we must continue to fight until we prevail, I'm confident we will get there eventually despite the corruption. Next season we have to address our short comings in the transfer window and focus on this comp and the league alone, I think going for four comps has taking it toll in terms of rotation and player fatigue. On the positive side, the vermins progressing in this competition might just hindered their title chances. If we win the treble, would that constitute failure?

We're better off out of those crappy cups.
Now depending on how we react this next week, we find ourselves on a much more level playing field regarding the run in.
Two less games for us. Two more games for the Scouse. If we win our next two, huge psychological pressure on Liverpool.

Said all along my number one priority would be retaining the PL.
I've got over last night already.

Absolutely.

The domestic treble is still on and is unprecedented. Be interesting to see how the pundits would react to us getting that

Day or two after the match and the dust has settled. Hope the lads have enough energy to go again. At least we are at home and will have had more rest than spuds.

Was probably one of the greatest CL games ever. It had virtually everything and more drama in the 90 minutes than a month on Eastenders. The world watching will have seen how we were the better side and were unlucky not to go through. But let’s not forget we won the game and at 2-1 down after 10 minutes that did not look likely. The team spirit is immense and this should see us home
