Ah I see Luke Shaw at LB Young on the Wing. I doubt Walker will be quaking in his boots at matching Young for pace.

Hate to say it, but the later two have been amongst Utd's better players of late.

Yeah but subtlety pointing out how much work De Gea has to do to give them any chance of staying in a game

I suspect Solksjaer is hoping to exploit any gaps Walker leaves pushing forward hence Young at left wing. Ideally push them back so Shaw is fully occupied defending.

That's exactly what he should have done Bernie would bring energy and pace to midfield. Silva and gundogan will slow it.

I think we're all in agreement on that!

An astute move , Young is a penalty in the making for us - gets him out of the way.

Today is about winning. Pep won't let whatever issue is happening with Sanè slide just for one fuckin game!!

No no no it’s not right to start with Fern and gundo. We are so much better than them we should just play it like it’s a home game and aim to humiliate them. Starting line up suggests Pep is scared.

And humiliating them at their own place.

I think it suggests he knows the importance of the game and he wants the strongest personalities for old toilet.

I fancy the Rags newfound determination to try and get stuck into a game will lead to a red card. At least one.
