gotta love you carl, 3 wins a we get the first domestic treble in decades, possibly getting 197 points in just 2 league seasons, and you're just brimming with positivity for the manager who led us here
Whats the domestic league got to do with the CL ? Baldie fucked the CL up...that's a fact.....not a nice fact....just a fuckign fact.
That's true all the domestic trebbles in the world wont change the fact that he fucked up the QF.

Not watching but sounds like Ajax are running rungs around Spurs. After Ajax being given the weekend off to concentrate on the CL I'm sure of we were playing tonight that it would impact on our final PL push. Only a slight consolation but a huge one in the big scheme of things.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I'd wager a good amount that the dippers involvement in the CL is going to cause them to drop points in the league. So our getting knocked out may be the advantage that sees us over the line. Also - I didn't think you were too fond of the CL

No. Ajax are good. First time I've seen them to be honest. Looks like the 70s again!
Let's face it we had our chance, fucked it up at whl
They are, yes, a good team, I just hate the hype around them. I am a bit biased, sure, I saw only people I dislike talking about them. The new Cruyff, the new Litmanen, etc.
Also, I think Spurs are fucked because of us. That game killed their fitness. Saw them with us again in the league, then with WHU and they really looked knackered.
Agree about Spurs
Haven't read about Ajax tbh. I tend to avoid the media a lot

He wanted to come to us by all accounts but we refused to pay. We'll probably now pay £60 million for someone shite the. Another £70 million to replace them.

a few things:
A) Football (TV) producers want shagging with a rag mans trumpet. Its a live game of football you cunts, not an MTV video. Keep the wide angle cameras on when the ball is still in play ffs. Keep the close ups for the other times.
B) Can we have refs being consistant and applying the laws of the game properly? Free kicks, throw ins from the point of offence plz, not from 10 yards either way and, 5 minutes et? wtf?
as you were

As sad as it makes me, us not being here tonight is quite important for the bigger picture.
With the fitness and injury issues we had here near the end, another two games with this lot would had been really really hard.
As bitter as he is, Pochettino was right on the pre-match conference when he said at this level it is not normal for them to play as much as they do, while Ajax have the whole support of their FA and got a weekend rest with their blessing.

Spurs as good as out and rightly so. Outclassed by a far slicker outfit.
