Agree, but judging by the emotion at the end and what he said in the interview, you kind of get the feeling that was his last home game.

If that goal was during his last appearance at the Etihad, ends his time with us, Then he is the Greatest ever signing, The greatest ever Captain. If we ever needed to honour a player/servant of our great club it is this man. Roy of the Rovers could not have done it !

if we are never to see him a blue shirt again after Saturday he must be added to the coaching staff Like Paddy was and we have our future in great hands.What a Player.

If he played for the Dippers he would have won POTY 3 times on the spin....but its lickle ciddy he plays for.....so no then.

Can see why with what was at stake.

But for me Townsend was a better strike as it was on the volley. But I thought Ramsey’s for Arsenal was a superb team goal
