Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!
by nottsblue » Fri May 10, 2019 5:42 pm
For the last time this season in the PL we go again.
A massive game and we go into it on the back of immense form. 13 straight PL wins whilst conceding only 3. All the stats show us to be overwhelming favourites for the match.
But I just can't shake off a nagging bout of Cityitis!
I know we should win and 95 or more times out of 100 we would do comfortably. But football as they say, is a funny old game. You only have to look at the CL results in midweek for shocks.
That said, we are the best and most consistent side in the PL over the last 2 seasons and beyond and there are reasons for this. So on this basis and because the alternative is not worth thinking about...
Brighton 0 3 City

Going for five nil based on the fact we haven't had a little Goal fest for quite a while and hopefully this time we'll have nerves settled in second half.

I am normally very cautious with City predictions but, my evaluation is this : crap team who rarely score against the team that always do, and has amassed more points in two seasons than any other club. So even allowing for things going wrong I am predicting a 4-1 win for City with Bernardo scoring first, and Raheem and Aguero doing the rest

Please pleeeeeease let’s smash them. We’ve seen many great things in the last 10 years. To see back to back league championship wins is one on the bucket list. To see the faces over scouse fans losing on 97 points is another.

4-1, City. Aguero.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

The last score prediction I made was the Newcastle game. I've deliberately stayed out since. You're welcome.
