I don’t know whether this is clickable but the New York Times have a story that UEFA investigators want us thrown out of the Champions League.

Khaldoon has stated that if they seek any sort of punishment they will fight it with the world's best lawyers, bring it on I say they'll never investigate us again after the battle

Gill going to some extreme lengths to get the Rags into the CL.
Better start digging into European bans for Wolves, Everton, and Leicester right now, ahead of United’s 8th place finish next season.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

I’m not sure how UEFA get past the stolen material issue. Could be wrong, Obviously we need to get over the line our transfer targets ASAP if we can.

Which I interpret as us saying, we have our own dirt on you now and we will use it. Excellent.

MCFC have just made the strongest statement ever threatening legal action against certain parties and individuals who have fictitiously perused this story about financial irregularities and the good name of MCFC .

Said statement:
'Manchester City FC is fully cooperating in good faith with the CFCB IC's ongoing investigation.
'In doing so the club is reliant on both the CFCB IC's independence and commitment to due process; and on UEFA's commitment of the 7th of March that it '….will make no further comment on the matter while the investigation is ongoing'.
'The New York Times report citing 'people familiar with the case' is therefore extremely concerning.
'The implications are that either Manchester City's good faith in the CFCB IC is misplaced or the CFCB IC process is being misrepresented by individuals intent on damaging the club's reputation and its commercial interests. Or both.
'Manchester City's published accounts are full and complete and a matter of legal and regulatory record.
'The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false, and comprehensive proof of this fact has been provided to the CFCB IC.'

No they didn't threaten legal action and the statement is worrying.
During the last investigation, there was very little word from us as the investigation was ongoing and we have since found out that Gianni Infantino was emailing Kaldoon begging him to accept the punishment. We knew the route the investigation was taking before the decision was made.
This time around we don't seem to be having that dialogue. To me that statement confirms 'we don't know what the investigation team are discussing and we are not being briefed on the possible outcome'.
We have some senior managers who must be the dumbest cunts alive to put shite in emails that could come back to bite us on the arse and they would give me very little confidence in fighting something like this.
The only way to fight it is from the inside like PSG are doing

You think they are 'discussing' anything other than punishment?
I don't

If they will want to ban us, they will open a door that might never close and that would not be very good for UEFA/FIFA, two societies that had big issues with the FBI.
If they ban us, they will have grounds to do this to other clubs and sooner or later, that will comeback and bite their arse.
