I was wondering where his next steps would take him. Something I noticed the other day after the Leicester game is the fact his kids use English as their language to talk to him (and among each other, although that's no surprise as their mother's a Manc and they're Manc born & bred). I'm guessing he wouldn't want to uproot them to a non-English speaking country, and wouldn't want to leave them in the UK while he played elsewhere. The fact that he doesn't seem to hint at retirement at all would suggest he's going somewhere else. I'm hoping it's the USA rather than elsewhere in England (I think he once said he could never play for another Prem club in an interview, didn't he?)...

Did it occur that not everything is the club's fault? For example he may decide to accept an offer to player-manage Anderlecht

Fair play to him. Sure the club will be behind him in that decision in the hope he may one day return to City.

Oh long before you and I were born
Others beat these benches with their empty cups
To the night and its stars to be here and now and who we are
Another sunrise with my sad captains
With who I choose to lose my mind
And if its so we only pass this way but once
What a perfect waste of time
https://g.co/kgs/EzxrY6 Bittersweet but I cannot think of a bigger city legend, if they built Yaya a mosaic or something whatever they build for Vinny should be visible from space.
God speed and thanks for everything Vinny.
Have you seen my bongos?

Fair play to Anderlecht for keeping that under wraps. This must have been agreed a while ago.
Anderlecht have just become a team I will look out for

Best of luck at Anderlecht, Vincent. Hopefully your new job will leave you a bit of spare time to provide some decent punditry on our games. Vinnie and Zabba vs Carra and Owen!

With the schooling and mentoring he'll have had at City, i can't see him failing as a manager. Hopefully he'll be in our hotseat one day.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

That news kind of deflates yesterday's euphoria, that said as others have already done, we all knew it was coming
Our loss is Anderlecht's gain in our eyes, yet in their eyes he's coming home.....hopefully this is pro-tem whilst Kaptain K transitions to coach/manager and returns to Manchester.
I motion that his song is sung each match as a reminder?

You know the measure of the man when fans of all teams, rags and dippers included, who almost to a man, sing his praises and say they wish they had had him at their team. John Terry and Roy Keane were revered at their respective clubs but not by football fans across the country.
Kompany has bucked that in some style. His testimonial in September will be a spectacular occasion
