Leaked pictures have emerged online of what is reported to be Manchester City's inaugural Puma-desinged home shirt.

City ended their five-year association with kit manufacturers Nike this summer after signing a ten-year deal with Puma.


And the German manufacturer's first effort is believed to have taken inspiration from City's 1981-83 design.

Classic Football Shirts posted a picture on their Manchester store's Instagram feed of what is believed to be City's home strip for next season.

The design features a striped v-neck, with a matching arm hem design.

The shorts are set to be blue, with details of the stocks still to be released.

Would a fake bother with the 125 years, I quite like it reminds me of one my old citys scarfs that had the purple stripe with white stripes either side then then the blue bars

My old man had one of these moth bitten remnants from the years before I was born (before he lost it drunk out of his mind this season). Was his lucky charm. Still won THE domestic treble!!

While I don't hate it I don't like it... Maybe it will grow on me! Have to see one of our boys in it before I cast judgment. They say purple is a regal colour, are we not PL royalty?
