It's terrible news.
He is a better player than anyone we have right now (I genuinely believe that)
A lazy pundit opinion is that he was finished in England after Gary Neville (who, talent-wise, wasn't fit to lace Reyes' boots) hacked him constantly at the Swamp.
However, he really came good thereafter in my opinion. An accomplished player on the wing, creating chances and goals and he was the consummate professional.

Agree with Canizares. As sad as it is, let's dial it back a bit with the hero worshipping for someone who killed two other people by recklessly driving 50mph over the speed limit.
