Unfortunately not. Can't stand the bloke. I think he's shite but he was the only one willing to take the ball off the back four and pass it about. Delph and Rice went missing when the back four was looking for an out ball and all Barkley did was fall over and fuck up. The defence was poor, Chilwell probably the best of them and the front three were mainly anonymous.

I disagree, when Henderson came on the midfield fell apart . He sprays the ball nowhere.

Agreed. Henderson is horribly overrated.

Fell apart? It was shite all night. They did fuck all to help the defence and fuck all to supply the front three. He took Sancho off who was the only one who looked likely to do anything.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

shows how little you know about football.
as much as i can’t stand the fucking runt, he’s been pretty decent in the past few months and was the only one in the middle of the park who seemed to know what he was doing last night. rice was shit. barkley was worse and delph did fuck all.

Maguire is not an upgrade on Stones.

On tonight's performance he is.

He could've given away another two goals in exact Stones-fashion but was lucky to get bailed out by his team mates.

Neither him nor Stones and least of all Walker covered themselves in glory last night, but all will look miles better with a proper midfield offering an outlet at City.

But then again, so would a host of average defenders that don't cost an absolute fortune. What a headache.

Can't think of one England player who had a good game. The defence was full of mistakes , the midfield mostly useless in keeping and passing the ball and the front 3 fairly anonymous. I reckon that's what you get when the season ended 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Surely Kolarov shouldve been able to cope though?

Fair play to the lad. Seems like he had a decent game as well in central midfield, running the show

He's a gem for us imo. Can fit in a few positions and do a decent job.

As long as we exclude full back

Or winger

I think the key with Sane is to play him up front.

He doesn't have to track back and could give him a shit load of freedom to take him to the next level. This is the position he played in Amsterdam and now tonight again.
