anyone familiar with this american sports news (subscription) website?
https://theathletic.com/supposedly they’re making a massive play for the uk market by poaching a load of ‘top’ newspaper journalists in advance of a big uk launch before the new season.

Their coverage of MLS is top notch. A good friend of mine is a journalist for them.

Yes I do, but only for the coverage of my local MLS team.
