Bruce has resigned from Sheffield Wednesday, presumably thinking he will get the Newcastle job. Will be funny if he didn’t.

If Bruce does get the barcodes job, that's one of the relegation spots sorted before we've even started the season. Ridiculous appointment for them. Shame as it's always a good away day

I never knew it existed until yesterday. Seen the slippy Steve one loads of times, but didn't know they'd done one for the Palace game.

Fulkin hilarious

Nicky Butt has been promoted at the swamp to head of first team development. Presumably in charge of shoring up their leaky defence. He has turned into a butt plug

Their fans are coming up with all kinds of rationalisations for the fee for Maguire.

They are a desperate lot.

£200m defence. Does it look like one?

maguire - £80m
wan bisaaka - £50m

It's 145, isn't it? I know Wan Bissaka has 40 odd, Maguire around 100 I'd say.

I just compared our English trio which cost the same, 355 PL appearances between them before signing for City.

Distorting the market, nay value!

Lukaku being fined for not turning up for training... Have we all been on the Carlsberg this pre-season or something?

So, they tell him to fuck off and treat him like a leper but as soon as he's seen trying to be professional and train with Vinny K's new team they hit the roof and grab some money back?

I'd tell them to suck my cock, turn up for every training session and bleed them dry for every penny.

MU have to pay the going rate (+ 50% top up + incredible wages) because City ruined football way back in the day.
(Glazers must have been really feeling the pressure from the Global fan base to lash out £145M those three players).
