Spurs are shite and made no effort to win.

Yet despite having 30 shots we blew it. Our finishing was atrocious today.

This new rule change for handball is unbelievably harsh. Laporte was attempting to play the ball properly. Not one Spurs player appealed for it.

Oh give it a rest you fucking mong. If we had finished any of the umpteen chances we had, we would have been home and dry. The issue with this game had nothing to do with the referee. Letting our players off would be too easy. They fucked it up.

It really wasn't mate

It touched his arm when attempting to play the ball. The rules have changed this season that if a goal is scored after a handball, whether intentional or not, the goal doesn’t stand.

Wolves had it last week.

Just seen the replay of Laporte being dragged down. Tell me why VAR didnt call that one. Blatant penalty. Sickening.

How can the rules say that’s an offence for the attacking team but if that hits the defending team it’s not. This is bullshit and doesn’t make sense.

I'm sure the commentators said "it has to change the direction of the ball"..

Rodri should have got a penalty.
And that VAR really fucking harsh. The ball didn't even change direction.

You think so? They're fucking wank, they're not exactly ripping it, barely escaped with 3 points against a shite Southampton. I still believe we will win it. We missed Stones today. It sucks, it fucked my weekend, there will be lots of twists and turns this season, I hope Farse, sorry meant VAR will work to our benefit in the latter stage of the season...there is me hoping

It’s only supposed to be fucking used when a clear foul is missed. No fucker in the stadium saw anything which might have been missed, no appeal. Why was the goal even checked?

Because they now have a way to beat us “handball” = fact maybe but, football loses. It’s football weird open play it’s not fucking tennis.

VAR just killed the game, twice in a week.

Absolute fucking bullshit

Change the rules so only the ref can ask for a replay, in fact why the fuck isnt that the rule already? Who are these Sky cunts sat at Sky HQ watching everything they can to cheat us?

Even Lloris and Moura seem confused why the goal was overturned. Lloris said he felt bad for us.

I'm sure the commentators said "it has to change the direction of the ball"..

I stand to be corrected but I’m sure the rule change is simply handball, regardless of intent or any change of direction of the ball.

Piss poor rule I grant you and once again we have been on the receiving end. But the real VAR talking point is why wasn’t the foul on Rodri given a penalty in the first half. Barely been mentioned

I think the decision to allow Llorentes goal in the CL was ridiculous. Today, the ball hit Laportes hand and is a handball. Unfortunately it was the correct decision.

People now calling out the officials as the only reason we lost this game are completely missing the point of our diabolical finishing, which is a problem that keeps coming up for us

I've not seen the game so i can't comment one way or the other, but a question i have about the VAR disallowed goal is , was Laporte's arm in a natural position or was it in the air as if he was climbing all over someone ?

Nothing sadder than going on another teams forum to chat shit. Seems like losing the league to City 2 years in a row has really gotten under your skin. Pathetic
