Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I would imagine Bear, that being as pissed up as you obviously were, you were ranting about the fact that all the condescending glory hunters in the past used to say City were their favourite second team.

Beered up again and I don’t give a fuck. Imagine a Saturday morning in a Liverpool household the whole family singing SweetCaroline and the dad dancing cooking egg butties in his brown stained string vest and stripes pyjama bottoms half tied up with a bit of spunk stained white string .

Anything brewed in Germany gets my vote - I love their purity law.

Having said that, there's a micro-brewery in Belgium which produces a 39% ABV beer that I've not tried yet...

I had a 65% one from a Dutch brewery once. Tasted like a bad whiskey. My beer of choice are Belgian triples (blonde, sweet, very carbonated, usually between 8.5%–9.5%). Of the more common brands Karmeliet Tripel is probably my favourite (made of barley, where and oat). Love a good bitter as well, but that's hard to come by on this side of the channel.

I had some Trappist Monk beer from Belgium, can't for the life of me remember what it was called though - tourist beer type of thing, really good though.

Love that stuff mate. It's either that or generic lager, like Heineken or Amstel over here.
It's not to recommend for an all day session, though. Three bottles is equivalent to a bottle of wine.

Had a session on a Belgian beer called Full Moon in Valletta. Seem to remember it was 10.5.
Got wrecked, went to pay them and they didn't take cards. All I remember after that was staggering around in the dark looking for a cash point, then waking up at home in the morning.
The missus obviously did a good job considering she'd had a fair few too.
