The loss of Laporte and vinny is a massive blow. We really need to fucking manage this season properly, something tells me that a stubborn attitude will get in the way of that.

We may as well have played an otter at centre half rather than The Otter. Never been convinced by the soft cunt.
Actually maybe we should have just played another attacker rather than him
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

That’s the worst game I’ve seen other play but with 85% possession our creation of chances at the other end wasn’t much better. What game plan decided to play aguero on his own and swing in a million crosses instead of playing through?
Yes I know he scored off one, but we normally play more intricate and create waaaayyyy more.
Tracking back is overrated.

The constant crossing was absurd.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

Defending 19/20 needs much more focus in training, especially with Laporte out. We have conceded 16 goals out of 29 since the start of last season from set pieces. Simply not acceptable

I think Stones has to get his head in the game. A shout to Otter on Saturday, he deals with it. I was at West Ham and his verbals to Pep may have gone under the radar, I think he was dropped not injured after that game! For me he is not on it enough he needs to step the fuck up. Looks out of sorts dare I suggest not focused on being a top player that he can be. I also get we have days like Saturday so I am moving on, but looking back if Stones screams at Otter mistake avoided.

Marking the near post at corners shouldn't be too difficult either. Rodri is 6' 3" so cover the near post like Drogba did for Chelsea. Anything coming into that area get out and get a head on it. Easy.

Very scary stat doing the rounds on social media is that Ottamendi and Stones have played together 25 times under Pep and conceded 28 goals . Any CB partnership with Laporte and the goals conceded is virtually half that .............
Not really here
Fuck VAR

I saw similar stats that show a high % of our losses under pep have otter and gundo both starting. Considering each have not exactly been ever presents it was surprising.
Tracking back is overrated.

How far does that stat go back? As when we hit the 100 Otter was in the team of the year.

I wouldn't be surprised is he's been bought with the CL in mind. Walker's bottle seems to go on the big stage.

It goes back to 16/17 when Bravo was in nets and we had fullbacks who's legs had gone.
It's skewed, their last 18 together since the beginning of 17/18 has seen 14 wins, 3 draws and a defeat.
They are our weakest pairing but that analysis is hyperbole.

Also im not blaming Rodri but Fern offers us a better defensive shield. If we need to protect stones and otter then we need to play fern
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry that should read 13 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats. The other defeat being the 4-3 against Liverpool.

And now Stones is out for a month so we won't find out just how bad the partnership is for a while.
Time to turn Fern into a CB I reckon. He'll be better than the lot of them.
