3 point gap with the dippers having to play spurs. they're a terrible team to rely on for a result but I got some hope

Grealish reminds me of Savage when he was playing, always annoying everybody

Those "stupid tackles" have broken up play many a time and stopped teams countering us. Gundo isn't fit to lace Fern's boots as a DM.

The "Stupid" first yellow Fern got today , shows he is not a centre back. Wasn't very bright of Fern. Where the foul took place and the cover we had made it unnecessary for Fern to foul, but he did.

There's breaking up play and there's stupid tackles. It was a stupid tackle today for the sending off, 3-0 up and no danger. Stupid tackle the other night for the pen. Stupid tackle at Newcastle in Jan that cost us the game. He's great most of the time but that's a flaw. Gundogan was great again today but he's a whipping boy for some reason.

If fern didn’t make those kind of tackles we would have lost plenty of points over the years and maybe a title and cup as well .

He should never change the way he plays and we should accept that now and again it will cost us going down to 10 men , but I’d rather that than he pussies out of a tackle like Mahrez does time and time again.

He's saved us loads of times over the years and I agree wit you about the titles and cups but likewise when he's been injured ( like against Arsenal at Wembley)or suspended it's been Gundo who's mainly filled in and done it really well so without him we might also have the odd pot less.

Wasting your time mate. Gundo, who I actually think it's now a very good player to have in the squad, had one decent match at DM against Villa and suddenly he can play there. Remember that fantastic right-back Elano we had? Fact is Gundo isn't a DM. Against a lot of teams when played there he's gone missing. He doesn't break up play like Fern. No doubt I'll get accused of "hating" Gundo for this though.

No injuries picked up for a change, that's worth 6 points alone.

Not one player in the premier league can do what Fern does - one of the best signings we have ever made (Take note PEP!! !)

As much as I agree he is a touch slower, no surprise we have flogged him like DS and Zabba, time catches up on us all, still a great player, just looking his age for me, crap players like Henderson/Fabinio will have the legs on him I fear when we play them. I hope not.

When Gundogan has a poor match he is completely invisible and missing. His lows are huge lows and that makes them far more noticeable.

I think he has far less of these stinkers when he plays at DM it seems like. When he's a no. 8 is when he is way more hit-or-miss.

I watched him chase down Zaha a couple of weeks ago. He didn't look slow at all.

True, but Zaha was waiting for support mate, no chance he is catching him in a foot race, but I get the point.
