Looked like the officials were using every angle to disallow the Shef Utd goals, haven't seen them myself but Big Nose on Soccer Saturday was flabbergasted.

Surely the fact it is taking five minutes to evaluate by var means it is not a clear and obvious error, or am I missing something here?

Depends which team it is. Clear and obvious dives are given as penalty's and clear handball is never a penalty if you are one of the Sky/PL darlings whereas they will spend as long as possible to find any means to rule it out for the none favoured club.
No such thing as clear and obvious anymore, unless it suits the narrative.

Is it me, but the rags being in bottom half seems to be getting a low profile by media

Still not seen the decisions but what I heard on SS, and from those on here, it sounds like Shef Utd were treated like a leper at a finger buffet.
I'm sure MotD will find some obtuse angle to back-up the ref and VAR.

Mad how when we look at players from lower divisions we end up with a Patrick Roberts and never a James Madison

But we would not likely have played the likes of Maddison. Sadly in some ways, we are at a level where an untried Championship player is simply not going to play in our first team. But I do see and agree with your point that there are players out there like Maddison who given a chance could possibly do a great job for us

Yeah I agree, he wouldn't get the game time here.
If Leicester sold him now they'd be looking at a out £80 million I reckon. Great find.

To be fair, he did a great job at the Dippers and then up in Scotland. I had no doubt that the Bling toothed bastard would do a good job at Leicester, they have a good squad and any club that takes the Rags to the cleaners for Maguire is alright by me
Talking of the Rags, even if they win tomorrow they will still be behind Arsenal who, apparently, are having a horrendous season.

It's going to be a tough day for the Rags if they don't beat Brighton tomorrow.
