Going to sit calmly on the sofa and watch. Not expecting anything with our injury problems. We find it tough enough with a full team out at Anfield. It's still not over if we lose. Yes it's highly unlikely that they will lose 3 but they only lost one last season and still finished 2nd. Draws did for them. Let's see how they deal with December before we start throwing the towel in.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Strangely, the bookies have us as favourites. Yesterday they had the bin dippers as slight favourites, but now they are nearly 2/1. I wonder if there's some bad team news on their side? Or maybe good news on our side for a change?

Also, I think Pep played a blinder bringing up the diving, with Mane going in hook, line and sinker saying he'll dive again for a pen. Surely the ref can't give him a pen today after that...

Maybe Mido is coming to the game.

The dippers won't be able to see through the tears in their eyes from this guy being wheeled out before kick off!

My stress levels will be far too high, maybe the best place to follow the game is the match thread here. At least I will be among like minded, and won't suffer the bent biased bastards of the media

IF you're in a pub, remember to nip to the bogs about five minutes before the start, that way you shouldn't have to put up with the media love in and those scallies sing that awful song from a really bad musical. IF you're at home you can always take a bit of time getting the next cuppa / beer / whatever.

Media love in with these , is just incredible.

The singing of You'll Never Walk Alone for the first five minutes then it's dead until the 89th. What an atmosphere!!

I had some old fake-dipper telling me this was our most important game of the season. Luckily I found this a while ago from the same day in 1987 and told him that even that game was more important.

I should have said that even that City team would beat Klopp’s mob!

Just heard that on TalkSport and couldn't get my head 'round it. When was the last time we won there and how long is it since they lost? The only thing I could think of was that somebody has some inside information and being lumping on a City win. Maybe PiGMOL ;-)

Those Scousers are weird fuckers though. Heard an interview where one was asked if he would prefer to beat City or United to which he replied 'United are no longer our rivals at this time so beat City'. What I couldn't understand was how he intimated that the Dippers were already the best team in the country, as if they were the ones that had been dominating the league.

Anyway, Come on you Blues, who's starting the match thread?

The rags were never their rivals. They challenged them once for the league in the last 20 years when Rafa was there. They chat absolute shit!

I totally agree, mate. It was a fictional rivalry that Taggart built-up and the Sky generation lapped up. That's why I mentioned earlier about the weird Scouse cunts sense of history.

As the Match Thread hadn't been started I thought I'd edit the Pre-Match.

Tony Adcock's second hat-trick in four days. 6-2. Kenny Clements scored. I liked him.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

It would make things very interesting. Include Dave and the Dippers/media would be in uproar.

I'm just wondering how this game will pan out. Dippers constantly going through our players with no punishment and then as soon as we breath on them it's a yellow? Dipper gets in the box, falls over because he's not tied his lace and gets a penalty whilst Aguero and Sterling are simultaneously kicked up in the air before coming down to a body slammed and the referee points to his ear and says, no pen.

It will be an interesting game from all aspects and if there is any form of controversy then we will once again understand how the PL want the season to pan out.

I just want to see a fair game with fair calls, whichever way the result goes.
