Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: "What happened today we showed why we are champions, I am so proud of my team, more than ever. We can be proud of how we played against the strongest team in Europe.

"Ask to the referees, don't ask me. Ask to Mike Riley and the guys in VAR. I would like to talk about our performance, it was so good. It was one of the best performances we have played.

"We played like back-to-back champions. We cannot deny how good Liverpool are but the way we played, the personality, it was good.

"It was quite similar to the Champions League game. It was an incredible situations in that game too but the performance today was so good. Always we try, never give up that is why we are back-to-back champions. Always fight until the end.

"It is important to grow as a club and as a team. It was an honour for both team to show the Premier League to spectators this type of game."

Who is a shit house, you?

Yeah mate. I'm the one that's got the opportunity to tell the whole world what a corrupt bunch of cunts the FA are but I haven't. That's me.

I think you have to be quite conservative and diplomatic in post match interviews. Guardiola played that fat bastard Shreeves (who would never question Ferguson the same way, the pussy) like a fiddle.

"Did you mean the "thank you" to Michael Oliver?"

"Of course"

"Was it sarcastic?"

"No, I am always polite"

Done. Fck off Shreeves

That a clever interview. He didn’t need to say anything about VAR, the pundits, fans and press will do all of the talking. He needs to keep his men focused on playing the game like they did. Keep them looking inwards at themselves. 99/100 that performance wins games and he just needs to remind the players to keep doing that, keep things simple.

Liverpool, I’m totally convinced, will capitulate in Jan/Feb. They cannot keep being so lucky and maintain their streak with all of the games they play, be it the first team or 2nd team, its draining them as a club.

We know how to win the league, we’ve won the league from 8 points away with 4 games left. Absolutely anything is possible and the pressure may come from Chelsea and Leicester too for a few months too, which is 3 times more pressure than they faced last season.

City wasn't hungry enough today, tactically, mentally, and physically. Missing key players brought on doubt throughout that team. We will bounce back but the league is a distance away now.

I blame the coaching staff tbh. You can't be nicking fries out of Shreevesy's happy meal.

I think we need a top defender in january.

Slim chances, but would be mad to think we are out of it.

The result is what a lot of us thought the officials and VAR, the same applies. Nothing more than we expected.

Anyone got a link to the VAR review of Salah's offside?
I assume they did review it in the end?
The one on Twitter is a home-made effort that shows him off.

It this stage of the season he can't load any more pressure on the team so has to take what he can for them in public and get the work done in private. We can't afford a ban on him for speaking his mind either, I'm sure this too will be dealt with in the small way clubs can behind closed doors too. The FA are fucking us it's clear for all to see, but even they have to take a look at just how much influence they can get away with before legality is questioned and proper conduct.
This is just one reason all of us that would have gone full tilt at the cunts is just one of many why we aren't a manager of one of the best teams in Europe lol.

The annoying thing about this game is that it was so predictable. Makeshift defence crap goalkeeper, bent ref, var, all this posted on pre match thread.
When will it come out this is a bent competition

There is a lot of over- reaction tonight .

Scouse2 will not win the league. They simply are not good enough .

We beat ourselves tonight.
