*** Match Thread | Burnley v City ***

Can we raise our heads out of the trenches yet?

After the Newcastle game this is gonna be a tough test, especially at set pieces. Still looking forward to it though, and hopefully got a login for Amazon Prime.

We'll see if the players really want it.

This for me as well. Remember last year how we shut out the throw-in and corners? Going to be a big test as we are not good enough in possession at the moment and the reluctance to admit that Fern is being wasted at CB is killing us without his defensive screen. Going to be a cold night up there going to have to dig out the winter woolirs

After Mandy's performance on Saturday pep has a decision to make at left back.

He’s more than one decision to make at the back. I’d be happy to see Stones and Otter paired together if it means Fernandinho is back running the midfield.

With Gundo suspended, Pep may be forced to move Fern back to his natural position and play Otter with Stones. Maybe then he'll see why Fern MUST play there whenever possible......

If Sterling gets booked he is suspended for the derby, says it all when a player like Sterling has been booked more than other teams defenders.
Still got this bad feeling about this game, same feeling I used to have under Pellegrini, ah well here’s hoping for any win, with no injuries and bookings

We cant be this shit for too long so im half expecting us to smash 5 or 6 in tonight . Thing is our current defence is that shit we will probably concede at least 2 and VAR will fuck us over at least twice also . Game might finish at midnight aswell with all that shit going on and the fucking stupid KO time . PL has well and truly gone to shit , fans don't matter anyone ...................... well proper ones ! its all gonna backfire big time !
Not really here

I reckon he'll play Otto tonight with Fern as they've got the 2 big guys up front.
Rodders in the holding position.
I'd be inclined to play Mahrez and Bernardo wide so Raz is definitely ok for weekend.

Tonight is a much harder fixture than Saturdays. Raz has to start for my money and I’d start him up front instead of Jesus

Raza coming off the bench wouldn't be a bad thing once they're tired though. A good option, but I see what you're saying.

Something to do with Amazon viewing. Even more spread tomorrow and on boxing Day goes on all day!

Don't think I'll break that to the missus just yet
