Micah Richards | The Pundit

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Micah Richards | The Pundit

Absolute breath of fresh air and looks like he could easily challenge RatBoy and Gobber for a top slot.

Thoughts?

Ps. Still love the fucker, taking one off Evra whilst the ref looked the other was a real highlight. Not because of that moment, but the game he played.

Agree 100%, although he's better when he slips a few f words in there.

Love the guy to bits. Was one of my favourite players. But as a pundit so far hes not at the top table for me. Maybe experience at it will help him get better.

Of the ex city pundits I've seen in recent years.
Kompany, Zabba are better at it. Yaya I couldn't understand.
Lescott and Richard Dunne both just ok.
Bellamy very good.
Remember seeming Gareth Barry once and he had the same impact as a fist of sleeping tablets.

Can anyone drop a decent link to see?
Never saw him on the telly, I avoid a lot of Sky when we are on.

I am surprise, to be honest, that Vinnie was not signed. He is one of the few ex footballers that are actually smart.

Its just nice to have someone properly in our corner, flying our flag and colours and beating our drum for a change.

We usually get Niall Quinn or Hinchcliffe as pundits who are supposed to be rooting for us, but who in actual fact despise us and stick the boot in.

Yes, Micah isnt as polished or as astute as other pundits but i don't care at this stage. He will get better. And it isn't as if most of the other pundits aren't cretins anyway. I hope he gets more games myself

Hunch doesnt hate us ffs why would he, he just over tries to be the neutral that it can seen the other day, like lee dixon. Proper come across as neutral. Unlike cunts like Neville who commentate on our games...

Assume you're talking about Hinchcliffe? He's not trying to be neutral at all! He has sly digs. That's not trying to be neutral. He's up Sky's arse 100%

The difference when you hear him on Sky compared to GMR (or whatever it's called these days) is huge.

Cant agree more. SKY write the script. The odd time I have watched a US or Canada TV stream sometimes MartinTyler is commentating and he is completely different on there.
Whereas on SKY he is not allowed to commentate on any game, no matter who is playing, without mentioning the rags or vermin in a positive slant.

Not defending him just a genuine observation. And if you didnt hear it you would not believe it.

I've been saying this for years. The amount of times you hear the red shit mentioned during a city game is ridiculous . I dont know why any of their supporters would be watching anyways - apart from the ones in boozers but it has always been there a constant drip of red propaganda.

Couldn't agree more Beefy. He's been brilliant whether on Football Focus, MoTD2 or live for Sky. And his laugh still cracks me up constantly.

He makes for a refreshing change. I liked his remark that he set Sergio on his way with the assist for his first goal.

He’s a character but last night the stuff he was saying about Villas defensive errors was really muddled, even after three attempts at it.

He'd be good at working with kids I think. A good character for them and has some great experience and knowledge.
