Fuck me thinking about our efforts, the efforts of others, Rags shit, Spuds Shit, Arsenal a mess, Chelsea average. Quality is not great is it. And then this VAR nonsense, really it's been a shit PL so far.
It’s been a shite league for a few seasons and one of the reasons we’ve been able to break such records. The only reason the Dippers got anywhere near us last season was due to the officiating where they manufactured a challenge, otherwise it would’ve been a stroll like the season before.
This season, they’ve gone all out and not tried to hide it.

Who in his right mind had the idea that Arteta would be a good choice?

I think you can find a fan on their forum that can be a better and cheaper choice.

But their fans will look at Everton and their appointment of Ancelotti and rightfully ask whether the decision to appoint Arteta over Ancelotti was based on football or finance

Just seen the 95th minute equaliser for the Geordies against Everton.
What a tw@t Pickford is - look at his positioning for the save - kids stuff...

I'm so confused. What's the rule now where if you're last man and give away a penalty? I thought you could only get a yellow for it if you made a genuine attempt to get the ball?
Luiz got sent off last night for giving a penalty away as last man.

I don't think the ref interpreted the push in the back as a genuine attempt to get the ball

Just watched again. I didn't see a push but may have missed it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5DEE5t-D1Y20 second in. View from in front ofAbraham. It's soft as anything, obvs, but there is a push and he only attempts to play the ball after he has taken a tumble.

I can see him put his hands on him, but it is a contact sport. I don't see a forward motion like a push once his hands are on him. Just looks like he's trying to get round to make the tackle.

Only a yellow for me but listening to TS this morning there were so many different views, both pundits and callers.
Even Arteta didn't seem sure either way and didn't know if they'd be appealing.

There's so many rules that are up in the air, one week one thing happens and the next something completely different.
It's ridiculous now.
