Just read that Shrewsbury scored but then was ruled out for a possible offside 3 phases back. No mention on MOTD which I’m watching live or on the BBC text feed for the game. Anybody see the incident as I’m sure I’ve never seen a proper VAR check from Anfield?

It’s the dippers. At their own gaff. You knew this would be the case. Just sing louder and louder and pray for the upset. Everyone else in the country is cheering Shrewsbury tonight

BBC website does show it ! i cant watch it cos i'm not in the UK.

But they write 'Deemed offside' , unclear if the guy took possession in an offside position or was passively offside .

Must be on a different feed, no detailed comment on the one I’ve been following, just ‘Freekick, Offside’ etc. Thought there maybe ‘Goal’, ‘Goal disallowed by VAR’

Cheers.

Not a chance if, like the fans, they had to park up at Everton and walk across the park.

Not offside my my money. The sponsors will be desperate for a Chelsea V dipper tie so they’ve probably had a word with the lads at Stockley Park to do what they can, when they can. So far, they’ve come up trumps

Not seen but sounds ridiculous. When the commentary says ‘Deemed’ it usually means it was a decision that is not agreed with.

As you say, the FA will have directed proceedings due to the sponsorship and possible next round scheduling.

Why did we get no lines etc?

If it was the scorer deemed offside, wasn't number 67(?) playing him on?
