Typical city rocked up tonight fair play boys you stood up and did it. Hats off to Pep, you played the occasion and set us up for it.

I wonder if pigmol had officiated that game would we have had the goal allowed, awarded a pen, and red card for Ramos? Imagine rag Taylor or a Oliver, sterling booked for diving, Jesus booked for pushing, then sent off for diving, that’s what makes the difference when a game is fair and when it is bent.

He was no where near his best. Stunned that some think he had a great game.
Better later, but the 1st half was extremely poor.

This is exactly how I felt before the match and even now I think had we gone with our strongest team then we would have battered RM.,,they were that poor.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Fantastic result. Goals and red card included. And happy Mendy got suspended too.
Jesus had probably his best performance at City today and was my MOTM.
KDB absolutely took over and turned the match around. Thank god he scored that pen.
Mahrez blew hot and cold and wasted a number of chances.
Mendy is truly terrible. We probably would've been better with Bravo at left back. If this club has european aspirations he has to be sold this summer.

I've had lots of patience but he's terrible mate. Only comfort is there's hardly a decent lb anywhere
Good to see Carl praising Pep again. Are there 2 Carls I wonder. A real one and an alter ego?

Moot point because hes got away with and thankfully misses the home game
I’d rather have Mendy in that position than any other of our players.
Must be a 1 sided argument like the right side fucked up for the goal. Mendy worked his arse off all night.

We'll miss him in the second leg.

Kudos to the Referee. Had the guts to give a penalty and a red card at Madrid.

people really go overboard on everything , that is the worst real madrid team i've seen in my lifetime, our best 11 absolutely hammers them
Jesus was very good a far better player out wide then up front , as for mendy and rodri absolutely gash the pair of them

Rodri is scary his turning circle and pass are heart in the mouth at times, Nobody was running Madrid down in the lead up, I think we wait until the final whistle of the 2nd leg, but enjoy the win.

Genuine question: was City too good or Madrid had one eye on their huge game on Sunday, vs Uefalona?
Not playing Kross comes to mind.

I think we enjoy the win, the media have tried to ruin us, our smile is back, what a week if we beat Villa, under the cosh from every twat, fantastic from the club.
