Officiating In The Real Game

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Officiating In The Real Game

Postby Beefymcfc » Wed Feb 26, 2020 10:27 pm

Was it me or was that officiating performance a real breath of fresh air?

Not just because we got the decisions but because even if they went against us I nodded my head and said to myself, that’s fair.

What are your thoughts against the way we’ve been officiated in the PL?

The ref didn't annoy me at all in the game. Gave fouls when they were fouls and let play go when there was none. The way they should be. Hardly noticed him.

I hope the reason is a visit from Khaldoon.

Glad it wasn’t just me. Did makes laugh, though, every time he gave a free kick he’d stand there looking away and pointing like an old Roman statue.

Brilliant way to shut the players up, especially the whinging Real twats.

It was the fairest refereeing performance we have even seen in this competition.
Complete opposite of what I was expecting.

It was officiated in a way that was done in England 10/15 years ago. The old adage of the ref had a good game, you didn’t notice him

But the funny thing is we didn't have him, if I am not mistaken, in important moments.

We had either the deluded bald from Spain or Cakir.

Outstanding officiating tonight in a hostile Bernabeu. Had to fucking pinch myself several times in amazement at the impeccable and class performance of the ref , incredible ! So it is possible ? or are UEFA on their best behaviour ? Well done the Italian ref anyway, take a fucking bow .
Not really here

Very good ref I mentioned it in the match thread very fair in my opinion and yes refreshing to see. I doubt he will get another game once those bent bastards of UEFA have seen his outstanding performance

Pound to a penny JG would have been given a yellow for diving if this game was played before UEFA came out with their ban .

Both of these true. Highlights just what we have been up against. We need to keep making the right noises in the build up to the 2nd leg. Looks like UEFA shat themselves last night, no way we would have had that ref or decisions go our way if it was not for the court case

He should be in our shoes over the last 10 years and then he will know what officiating bias really fuckign is.

Don’t think we would have got the pen in the prem even tho it was nailed on VAR would have deemed the hand on the back as a push.

One of the most idiotic takes I've ever hear. The ref is biased against you because you always win
