Very poor performance and only won via an offside goal. Pretty pathetic.
I have no idea what has happened to Bernardo Silva this season

It wasn’t a poor performance it was laboured and boring because of how Gary Monk set up his own team at home Infront of its biggest crowd of the season. Was it an offside goal ? No it fucking wasn’t VAR wasn’t there and VAR is fucking shit anyway just like your posts .
Not really here

Fuck VAR

I've not seen anything to show offside. Have you? If so, please share as it was described as "possibly offside" by someone not in line, but deemed onside by the linesman who was in line. Are you guessing, making this up or just pedalling the media's negative shit for them?

Very tight, impossible to say one way or another from the still they showed, did they show linesman's angle post match?

We dominated and deserved to go through.

Result isn’t that important. We’ve just won a trophy and have United/Arsenal coming up next week. Main thing was to win the tie and get through to the next round which we did.

Only shame was that Garcia didn’t start in place of Stones and it would have been nice for Foden to start consecutive games.

But we’re in the quarter finals and have a decent draw. We have a great chance of retaining our cup.

It is a decent draw but worth noting that Pep has won just once in 3 visits to Newcastle.

The highlight of the game, enjoyed singing along with the crowd, stopped me from nodding off.

Did I hear City fans singing - if I die on the Kippax street - I always thought those rags sang that at us ?

I think we’ve always sang it. I’ve heard it since I’ve been going over 20 years ago.

They (the rags) used to sing - if I die on the Kippax street there’ll be ten blue bastards at my feet - that would be circa 1970s, anyway that’s what I thought would not engage in any disagreement with any blue over this.

There used ti be two sets of lyrics, one rag, one city. If it’s this one, it’s our song, I first heard it in the early 70’s, but could be earlier:

I want to die on Kippax Street,
Doo-dah, doo-dah,
With ten red bastards at my feet

80% possession, 20 shots to 1, should have scored 4-5 goals. Was not a bad performance at all besides the finishing (hello nt)

Can't really ask for much more away on a boggly pitch vs a team defending on the edge of their own box. Some City fans are really starting to act a bit spoiled/entitled

More to do with their goalie having an exceptional game than poor finishing . Credit where it's due .

Don't really like upping another team's players but his shot-stopping was outstanding.

It was. Funny, though, cos I was sure the commentator said it was his first start in ages (18 months?). For a team not winning many games since the new year it seems odd.he's not managed to get picked. Or was last night just the exception?

We should've scored 6. Mahrez and Sterling just hit it near/at him (plus anyone I've forgotten)
