Tepid performance, at best. I can't remember the last time I hoped for so little from a derby, and was still underwhelmed.

Not sure about you but I’m so so so happy with that stat.

That's the trouble Pep sees that as deserving the win. Didn't Leicester win the Prem on 30 odd percent possesion?

What did he say at the post-match interview? Did he point out how "fantastic" united were?

There's a lot of selling required. Would you trust Pep with a budget? He buys a lot of shite. A lot.

Wonder if the players have their minds more on that.

We have 2 games before the Madrid game, plenty of time yet and I’d suggest that our priorities are other than the PL.

Amazing how I was over this game by half-time. It’s been one of those seasons in the PL where there’s been so much going on that today’s game just goes down as one of those games. The Rags will be celebrating like we did with a win over them pre-takeover so we know how they feel, but this is how they must’ve felt.

We’ve just had the 3 most important games of our season and come through all of them. This should’ve been the 4th but, in reality, it wasn’t a must win for the club. Us fans, though, will be mightily pissed but will get over it if we do well in the other comps.

Was that the shite that turned his team from top 4 to back to back PL titles, Centurions and Treble winners within 2 seasons?

Interesting concept.

Most were already here.

That game was like every player (and pep obvs) were intentionally playing badly, giving zero fucks and booting it out

Fern not in his actual position has been our biggest downfall this season.

Are we saying that we forget the last 3 seasons and revert to the seasons prior to confirm that he is isn’t a good manager/purchaser of players?

Not trying to get into an argument, mate, but it seems that we are trying to airbrush his, and our successes out of history. Not sure what I’m hearing but it sounds like the media that I try to avoid reading.

I would say out of the 4 you mention, all Pep buys, they’d fit easily into any top 4 side in the Prem. add Bernardo, De Bruyne, Walker, et al and I’d say that our purchases in his time here have worked out very well. 6 major trophies confirms it.

Shift F1 to mid. Best there is. However weak Stones and Otters are, sacrificing the best DM on the planet is nuts. F1, Merlin (even a fading Merlin) and KDB is our best middle 3. Bilva, Kun and ANO up front. Walker and Mendy full backs.

It's the best we can do. So many poor players right now.
