Exactly. So what explains the decisions Pep has made this season?

It’s just a follow up to the Match Day thread and allowing people to vent further on their thoughts on our current, and probably best manager ever.

It was a Derby, after all.

Pep out? For the success he has brought us he has a get out of jail card for me. I however am not overly thrilled with some of his decision making this season. It has been baffling to us supporters that’s for sure. But I always say we never know what goes on in training and behind the scenes. Transfers that we thought would happen that for whatever reason didn’t then happen. Injuries in key areas. These are things that all go into the melting pot and can dictate how the season pans out

But let’s look at the season.

2nd in the PL
League cup on the sideboard. For the third year in a row
Through to the last 16 of the CL with a belting away win in Madrid which puts us in pole position to qualify
Through to the 1/4 finals of FA cup where a very winnable tie v Newcastle awaits with another Wembley visit very much on the cards

1 pot won and in the running for another two. Win one of those and finish runners up in the PL and I’d consider that a decent season and had it been on offer in August, I’d have probably taken it

But should he leave, then so be it. Managers come and go and have a certain shelf life. Maybe Pep is reaching his best before date. Maybe he still has the hunger and the dressing room has the hunger to go on another few years? But if he was to go? I’d go for the lad at Leipzig

Shocking results against a poor Utd side this season but this is a bit of a knee jerk thread if ever there was one.

I've often wondered that myself. His management style would be absolutely savage with this squad we currently have.

The bloke won us the domestic treble. Never done before, perhaps will never been done again.

He can stay until his dying day as far as I'm concerned.

So why start a thread that you know could turn nasty instead of leaving the match day thread as is ? no need unless you like to light a fire and then stand back ?

By the way PeP apologists like you will continue to defend him off no matter how many times we get beat and embarrassed by the Munchens whilst other fans will bring the cunt to book when he does so and point it out.

Lovely.
Mancini gave us the most joyful season of our lives and the best adrenaline rushed game in the history of football which was won in the final minute, ''perhaps never been done again'' .............should we have kept him ?

For the record (Some fans cant read on this site ) I don't want him gone ( Yet ) but I also wouldn't lose any fucking sleep if he did go.

How do you manage Sterling?
He has been utter garbage the last 3-4 months, but utterly brilliant the previous two seasons and the first half of this one.
His form has to come back at some point, but if he’s not playing it never will....catch 22 at its best.

He will be given a new extension to his contract this summer..currently he earns 300 k ? and will soon earn 350 to 400.
Baldie plays him week in and week out no matter how shit hes playing and some folk on here will not say a slagging bad word towards our manager due to what he won domestically !!...posters even saying he can do what ever he wants ffs !!!!

Fucking madness to give a huge pay rise for a player who has been utter turd for months now (His missed goal today was as disgusting a miss as you will ever see)

Yes I agree but how do you manage him to get him back to his best. Benching him presumably isn’t going to do it.
