Spuzz midfield is feeble. Can't hang on to the ball at all.

For a team who were touted as being able to compete for the PL, they look like they couldn't even compete for the EFL trophy.
Levy must be thinking what the fuck have I done.

Just got in from wife at hospital, saw the scores, looks like spuds are fucked, and Atalanta will get through, wouldn’t mind Atalanta if we get through, we have beaten them before I think.

Angelino playing a blinder in this game - crossing is spot on every time , unlike the lump of dog shit we have crossing balls in the left for us .

I guess his crossing is that good that I forget how shit he was in defense , there again Mendy is a fraction better in defense than Angelina but a complete bag of shit crossing the ball .

Yep, and I love it. RedBull took them from the 5th division right up to one of the top teams in the Bundesliga.

Also, great to see Atalanta doing so well after Agnelli said they don’t deserve to play in the CL over the likes of Roma. Just shows what the head of the ECA thinks of the none cartel clubs.

How very dare they!

Ps. Hope all went well during the visit.

Thanks Beefy, things not looking quite so bad, back to football I had a disagreement the other week with a poster on here about Hoffenheim (I don’t like to get into arguments with blues normally) but this guy was saying the 50-1 rule in Germany had been cheated by the likes of Hoffenheim and Leipzig I did not understand the rational behind his argument at all.

Good to hear.

The thing with the a German system is that they like to portray a sense of ownership for the fans which gives the clubs a more intense fan base whilst giving the fans a sense of control and belonging. It applies more as you go further down the table but when you talk about the likes of Bayern it is just a way of controlling the fans whilst giving an illusion of them having some form of ownership.

Not sure what you argued, although I do seem to remember the conversation, but if someone is trying to say that it is good for football, it doesn’t really add up as the further you get up the league the less control you get.

Thanks Beefy, well the argument was because I was disagreeing with the demonstration against the guy who had bankrolled Hoffenheim and that he had broken the ownership rules, I think the guy was Saul Goodman, the only reason I remember is because the name reminded me of Breaking Bad that thing on tv.

Yes, I remember it now and think I interjected. I’ve lived in a Germany for quite a few years on a number of occasions, visiting many grounds and utilising their systems. It seems really good until you scrutinise how they do business and then you see how the public purse funds a lot of their needs. Seems very antiquated and when you figure out that Bayern have won nearly everything for years then you understand how the German Rags control football.

Even more ridiculous was the fact that when BVB were in severe financial crisis, Bayern basically bailed them out which probably led to back handlers of players further down the line.
