Cue all the European leagues trying to extend their seasons' to complete all fixtures in an attempt to not lose the sponsorship and prize money. If they've put the Euros back a summer, it will mean that next season will have to start bang on time so not much wriggle room with the current non playing of games?

These guys with their mantra “ the season must finish at all costs “ remind me of the Mayor guy in Jaws that kept saying the beaches stay open, whilst people were being eaten by a shark!

It's their only way out isn't it? The seasons have to end to ensure that all matters are resolved. At present, no-one can be champions nor relegated/ promoted. If they tried to enforce an 'as-is' the affected relegation threatened clubs would take them apart in the courts. They (certainly the PL) will do everything they can to get all the fixtures completed

UEFA have done a proper estimate and realised there’s no way of getting the Euros in and, if there is a window, they can play out the CL. It’s all economically driven but, in one way, will be very much needed by all of us to give us a sense of normality.

IF UEFA push for a resumption of the Chumps league, surely they cannot do that without the leagues starting back up? There will be some fun with the scousers and red shite at the front of the queue - scousers to want the season to restart and the red shite will want to carry on with the europa in an attempt to get chumps league for next season

Good, but I also agree that it seems a bit too soon to set the date.
