They are a separate body from the PL so can proceed differently, and also there are only three rounds to play in that competition now, effecting only eight clubs, so I can see some sense in trying to finish it, even if the league is abandoned.

Different competition but I think everything is tied to tv rights and sponsorship money etc etc . If an agreement had been made to cease these then the season can be cancelled I think . World companies writing off contracts and money all over the place right now with the economic meltdown so who knows ?

That's the same vid that was lampooning the rags a few years back.
I might be wrong, but I seem to remember it was about the 6-1.

i can’t see mass tourist travel resuming until this time next year.
my neighbour works for heathrow. says they are fucked and it’s unlikely that it will ever be the same again as they know that business travel will be massively down from now on...
they have already brought in voluntary salary reductions of 20% and stopped paying perks like car allowances.... that’s only days into all this.
all ba staff at every level have been their hr1 forms which means all 45,000 are at risk of redundancy.

Very true with business travel. All these firms who use zoom or other such things to video conference will think twice a out the costs of doing business the "old way"
And given the experts think Corona may come back in smaller waves in the next year or so, I'd imagine a fair few countries will keep their travel restrictions and border controls in place.
Not too mention how many airlines will actually ride this out and still be trading in a year

The people with money saved and money to spend will travel ASAP once this lock -down is over and as soon as a vaccine has been found to work then I think more people will adopt an attitude of live for today and fuck tomorrow and start to enjoy their lives more.
Life is for living now and is not for saving every fucking penny for your late 60,s !
P.S My sister was one of the youngest ever CSD's for BA and she will know next week if shes out of a job.
