Sky Sports RIP?

So with global sport shutdown for the foreseeable future; what are the cunts at Sky going to show?

Maybe more importantly - is there a chance they wont survive this ?

They'll find some way of blaming us for it, and run it non-stop 'til it's all over.

They'll get that lump of lard rag Eamonn Holmes back to do a series about his mate Fergie, and how wonderful the rags used to be.

I’ve had Sky Sports since it’s inception and quite enjoyed it up until we started to compete. You could see there was different officiating from the off but it wasn’t until it was affecting us going for the trophies when it really started to hit. It didn’t get any better and then went so far to the red side that they were now actually slating is during games.

I also had BT which gave me free Sport, which was a bonus until I realised they were using our games to sell to the same red twats by giving us negative coverage. Eventually I couldn’t take no more so binned BT, telling them exactly why.

For Sky, as I live away from home I had 2 accounts, one that I started on my last move approx 18 months ago. I cancelled my account for up North using the exact same reason as BT and was interested to hear that there were many others doing it, this from a Celtic fan from London? My account here was waiting for the initial contract to finish but I finally snapped after the Gobber comments a few months back. When I contacted them they said I had 3 months to go and couldn’t do it. I went ballistic and they finally cancelled at the end of the contract.

I’m pleased to say that I am not paying a single penny to BT or Sky Sports for their inane commentary that is geared to keeping the Rag/ Dipper scum happy.

Don’t get me wrong, I still get to hear them but as it’s for free then I can just smile and think ‘You sad-sacks’. Alternatively, I can flick over to NBC, Optus, BEIN, or a number of channels where we get a fair call, all for peanuts.

Such a weight off my shoulders.

I’m a survivor and been Sky free since March the 4th.

now if sky used the netflix model for revenues, ok.

I will never pay for a channel that then advertises to me.

you do realise netflix own content relies heavily on product placement. i personally find that more irritating than adverts. other than them being shit, one of the reasons i don’t bother watching bond films anymore is because the product placements are ridiculously irritating...

Product placement is really irrelevant. I mean , who can remember what car Kojak drove around in ?

Fuck off SKY !!!

All the sporting media are affected which will force them to push the agenda that gets the most clicks. Even the Beeb resorted to Banger Racing the other day just to fill a slot by Silly (horse-face) Sally on their main news. This was swiftly followed by some Rag/Dipper waffle that I couldn’t be arsed to comprehend.

What happens to their bullshit transfer talk, it’s gonna kill their programming as the only news will be no news?
