All the nonsense about him not being strong enough, when he’s been training kick boxing at his dad’s gym since he was 3, is ridiculous.

Against lesser teams? Its not the lesser teams we need to worry about. There are not many easy games in the league. I love Rico and firmly believe he has a very bright future, but I am not so sure he is good enough to deputise for Rodri in a difficult league game just yet.

The league is crap mate  Bar the top 6 most of the teams at the Etihad just sit until they concede that first goal and then just give up. They don’t attack us. Rico in that role against lesser teams at home would barely have anything to do.

I agree, I don’t think any of our players are ready to deputise for Rodri in a difficult league game.

Rico played midfield at The Emirates last season and played well when Rodri was suspended. He was unlucky to have a goal chalked off after being fouled and we only lost to a freak deflection at the end. He was far better than Kova that day who should have been sent off and was then walking a tightrope all game.

I don't get why do you want Rico to play in the middle? He never looked very comfortable doing Rodri's work.

However, as a right back, he always seemed very promising.
I believe he should spend more time there and gradually wait for Walker to leave (fuck off).

As Stu has pointed out, he was final against Arsenal. Was very good in the middle against Palace home and away. Hes played well further forward in the CL. No one will be as good as Rodri, he’s the best player in the world.

Thought he was banned?

What’s going on here? Is Pep not playing players when they’re fine (Rodri, Stones) or are their countries running them into the ground when they’re not fit?

Had to sit out the Serbia game due to his one match ban. Watched him last night. He's back in the groove and back to his imperious best

Rodri imo is the best player we have and irreplaceable but we have been fine for our first 3 games without him which bodes well for the season ahead.

Tin tin started off really well against France. Bit of a niggly game this one , so far. They don't like each other.
