Was there a bust up in the dressing room , I have a cousin from Ashton Under Lyne a life long blue I phoned him the other night and he said there are rumours that the scratches on Pep’s head were the result of a dressing room bust up . Has anyone else heard these rumours ?

I mean, delap is in good form having done the square root of fuckall before. As a club, we're in bad form, having had a decade of dominance.

Yet you'd take delap's form as class?

Tbh the only one I feel was a mistake was cole and I NEVER saw that coming. Most didn't either.

One in 10 years is absolutely unbelievable.

Now, what i will say is that pep should have been using mcatee (and one or two others) for minutes here and there so he could relieve the senior players and he didn't do that. That's on him alone.

But where we are now has more to do with that and our activity in the transfer window than the ones you keep saying we should never have let go.

Just my opinion

Not a large number, no. But some of the ones we’ve left go over the last 2-3 years are no worse than what we’ve bought in that time.

One or two is fair enough, especially if we replace them with players just as good or better.

Is Doku or Savio better than Palmer or Mahrez. No.

We’ve got no defenders fit yet we sold Harwood Bellis without giving him a sniff.

We sold Alvarez and we’ve got zero competition for Haaland - Delap could have played cup games to rest Haaland.

Morgan Rogers is having a better season than any of our midfielders.

We sold Lavia and now we’re desperate for Rodri cover.

It’s not about how many have worked out or not, it’s about someone at the club should be able to identify the ones that will. If a kid says they want to leave then we should have people advising them why City is the best place for them and then loan them out if needed.

We’ll see more fuck ups now because the money and infrastructure was put in 10 years ago for the academy. It’s now we’ll start seeing the fruits of that and unless we get better at identifying who will make it and focusing on them, we’re gonna lose more and more players without replacing them for better or the same quality.

Damn, forgot, could be fucked then ! But I'd play 3 at the back and throw Silva in midfield. Tell him to mark the centre backs on corners. Take 15 yds off our forward press line and any doubts put the ball and man in row Z

^^^^^^

I am glad rico is not available, he has been shown wanting in the last few games, been very poor.

Let him have a rest.

We were flying high until gündo came back, sorry but his form has been piss poor. He needs benching for now.

Agreed. That equaliser against Palace was bang out of order and a huge mistake on his part.

You'll have to find a new right back.

And you'd risk kdb in his 4th start in 10 days? Risky but understandable.

3 at the back? Has that ever worked for us before?

It really is a conundrum.

I would ay KDB every game, use him till he gets knackered then sub him. 3 at the back is one more than we usually have

Is that Simpson Pusey injured? Pep plays him, so why can’t he play him now? This “3 defenders fit” is bullshit. Wilson-Esband and SP are defenders.

I don't think Wilson-Esband is fit for purpose

Agree on Simpson-Pusey

So basically we do have options for changes and we always have had .
What are the odds on pep sticking with Walker and Gundo ?

I’d say the bookies won’t accept any bets against that.

I think there's aevery chance savinho could eclipse mahrez tbh but I get your points on everything else.

The overriding fact is that our squad and transfer policy has worked better than any other club in world football over the last 10 years. Pep's use of a small squad was fine... until recently and he's also admitted as much.

The extra games and the lack of rest means we need a bigger squad.

So we might see a change in how many we keep and/or buy.

What i don't get is not using mcatee and one or two others if only just to rest the big players.
I know we can't see what's going on behind the scenes but from the outside it's baffling

I must have missed your questions carl?

If you'd like to try again I'll do my best to answer...

It's just that you keep saying pep will send out a shite team and I'm trying to find out which is the one that isn't shit, as in the one that you want to see?

And I think the reason you are refusing to answer that question is because you don't know how to pick a good 11.

Let's see though. The floor is yours

I'm just repeating myself.

I keep saying PeP keeps putting out SHITE starting 11's with Walker a constant at RB and Gundo stealing a spot on weekly basis when we all know hes completely off the pace and a liability.........So he puts out 9 decent players and adds in 2 absolute shit ones which, In most peoples world, that classes as a shite first 11.
The only person who really KNOWS or should KNOW how to pick a good 11 is the fuckign manager whose paid 25 million a year to make those choices and not us fans..

As we have not seen enough of the youngsters how the fuck can anyone outside City pick a decent looking starting 11 ? we all know 2 players should be dropped and should have been dropped long ago so that leaves space for 2 young players...McAtee and Esbrand perhaps ? they need to give them a run in the side and not fleeting appearances.

What I cannot stand, and it makes my piss boil, is seeing Walker and Gundo on the pitch in the same positions...its madness and its cost us big time and replacing them with 2 youngsters should be a simple fuckign decision IMO.

Your piss would boil a lot more if Wilson Esbrand played. He's had 3 loan moves to shit clubs and he's not lasted at any of them. Did you see him pre season for us.

Same as Delap then. Look at him now. Palmer wasn’t even worthy of a loan according to Pep. Players can play poorly for teams and not for others. Look at Phillips, played alright for Leeds but crap for us. Nunes etc

If Wilson Esbrand isn’t good enough why’s he on the bench constantly? Why is Pep doing that? Has Pep lost it?

Palmer was a surprise to us but should he have been a surprise to Pep and his assistants. The biggest mistake was Alvarez. He is a class player but was fucked about by Pep and it simply pissed him off. Don't see why he couldn't have been played alongside Haaland. He did all the running for Haaland and I thought they'd make a great team. Pep seems to like lone strikers though. Always blame him for shortening Aguero's time with us but that might have been cut short by his illness anyway

Walker wanted to go as did Silva but they're both still here which is at odds with Pep's mantra that if you want to go you can go.

So you'd drop walker and gundo and bring in esbrand and mcatee. OK, maybe we're getting somewhere as to what your preferred side would be.

What would you say if pep then picked your preferred 11 and we had a shit result.

Would you then look to other factors/ reasons and if so, where would you look to?

It's either that or you just keep blaming the manager when we lose and credit the correct starting 11 when we win?
