Whatsoever the extent of the injury is - hopefully very light - I blame Mancini for having started him in a friendly game (pot or not!).

The medical team will have told Mancini whether VK needed a full 90 mins or not, bearing in mind he has missed some games and some work in the pre-season. I doubt Mancini would have gone against their advice for a game that wasn't that important.
