I think we need another specialist wide player. Milner does well in that position but it's not his best position. Silva, Barry, Rodwell, Garcia, Yaya and Fernandinho are all central players which leaves Navas and Sinclair as the only two proper wide players we have. I am fairly certain we can trim some of the fat from the central midfield overstock to make room for some wingers. However, Muniain is a viable alternative in the same way Sinclair was a viable alternative to Hazard last year.

A few on here rate Muniain. Why do you think he's shit?

Re-read my post, where did I say that?

Not saying you intended it but it sounds like you likened Muniain to Sinclair...thus making it sound like Muniain is shit. That's probably how he read it; I thiought the same.

Okay, I'll ask another. At what point did I say Sinclair was shit?

I agree. He's an upgrade to what we have available on the left (Silva or Nasri, neither of whom are comfortable), but I think it was more a case of getting a player they believe will be the next big thing. In the same way that if Messi became available for a realistic price, we'd have to be in for him - better player, obviously, but a player you would find room for, regardless of who you already had.

Personally seen very little of him, but any article I've read about him rates him very highly and another good season could see him pushing Silva, Cazorla, Mata for a place in the WC squad. If we were willing to spend around £25m on him, then I guess we rate him highly too. As do Madrid.

The proof will be whether we go after an alternative or stick with Silva, Nasri and Navas to do that role. I suspect well stick, but time will tell.

There's this mid called Konoplyanka who's quite like Isco, just he's Ukrainian!
He can play RM LM CM, his dribbling awesome and he's strong as well! Oh and he's CHEAP! I'm not sure what team he plays for but he would would be a good replacement, if we lose out on Isco, not that we will!

Did you just compare Isco to Messi?? Especially when you admit that you've almost never seen him play?

You have gone off the deep end. Speculating on top of speculation has lead you to an alternate world based on your made up stories that bares little resemblance to reality. Complete nutjob.

How can anyone have heard of this guy unless you live in the Ukraine. Its got to be football manager. We will miss out on Isco and I dont want to sign this player because I cannot pronounce his name.

Did I compare him to Messi? No, I said there are certain players who you'd have to try and buy if they became available, regardless of what you already had in their position. Messi was an obvious example to illustrate the point.

Isco is nowhere near that level, and I doubt he ever will be as I think Messi is probably the best player I've ever seen, certainly since Maradona. But Isco is one of the hottest prospects in football, along with the likes of Hazard or Neymar. That's why big clubs spend big money on them, in the hope they find the next Messi or Tranny.
